Beautiful Surprises..

​It's amazing how you can go through life and not think about all the blessings that you have. I often find myself wishing for this, or wishing for that only to remind myself that I should be happy to be alive and doing well. I suppose in this life there is so much to be wanted that we forget about what we have. On Saturday I watched the kids I was photographing as they played and laughed and ran around and it reminded me of just how amazing life was. I was encouraged by their smiles to smile more. It's amazing how one persons smile can travel..

The Baby Bump

I was given the opportunity to photograph a friend from Keystone College last Thursday and her husband. They had just come from their 30 week checkup! This is the first couple I have photographed who is determined not to know their child's gender. This was an obstacle that we talked about before the photo shoot, and I think we did relatively well with photos and props for either baby boy or baby girl. I am very excited to work with them after the baby is born for their newborn portraits! It is becoming more and more apparent that I love my line of work! ​
